Doppelgangers

So, let's talk about doppelgangers.  Is it really that hard to believe that there are other people in this world that we look like (or that look like us)?  I mean, I don't understand the obsession with which celebrity we may or may not look like.  Perhaps I am bitter because my 2 most common celebrity look-alikes are less than upstanding people or television characters.

Let's examine exhibit A...Lindsay Lohan.  Now, I think she is a pretty girl so I am flattered when I am mistaken for her at the gym and the mall.  However, she is an absolute train wreck!

Okay, exhibit B: Deb Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) from the hit show Dexter.  If you have seen the show, you know that Deb Morgan could make a sailor blush with the way she talks.  And yet, I have been told many times how much I look like her.  I guess I should take comfort in knowing that I resemble a very successful hollywood actress but not that I remind people of her actual character.  Anyways, have some fun and find out who your doppelganger is.  Despite my bitter tone, it's fun knowing that there are some tourists out there today who SWEAR they saw Lindsay Lohan at the TJ Maxx in Westlake or saw "Deb" from Dexter at the thousand Oaks mall :)

In case you were wondering, this is the real, genuine Chelsey Colleen Hutchinson.  I wonder if either of these ladies have ever been told that they look like this high school teacher from Agoura Hills...wouldn't that be funny :)

Bon Voyage Lindsey and Tonio

Our 6 weeks with Lindsey and Tonio flew by!  I will miss them both so much.  The moustaches are our nod to France and it's people.  Take your time looking at this perfectly planned photo and find the hidden, out-of-place, or interesting items.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

For those of you who know me well,
you know that I LOVE the Christmas Season
and LOVE the Fourth of July.
Well, this year I decided that combining the two holidays would probably be the best way to keep me from setting off fireworks and singing "America the Beautiful" in November
I MAY have made a few modifications to our tree topping angel...
God Bless America!

During this holiday season, please take the time to remember that Christmas is truly about God sending His only Son down to Earth as a baby.  That baby lived among us, sinless and blameless, and grew into a man who changed our world and saved our souls.  Along with this remembrance, keep the men and women fighting for our freedom in your thoughts and prayers.  They have come alongside our "One Nation Under God" in order to maintain the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday.  So, as you bow your head to pray over your meal today, thank God for the men and women who are defending our freedoms.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Question:
How do you fit 13 people in a 1200 square foot home?
Answer:
Use chairs, sofas, tables, coffee tables and the oh-so-sophisticated floor!

I hope you all had an amazing time of fellowship with your friends and family.  We enjoyed the company of aunts, uncles, cousins and neighbors.  If you ever find yourself alone on Thanksgiving,
stop by the Agoura Hutchinson Home...
we will save you some floor space!
