That's right folks, I did it...I completed 11 miles of grueling obstacles consisting of ice baths, lake swims, soldier crawls, wall climbs, slip n' slides and electrocution.  

You may ask why...I simply reply with...

WHY NOT?!!?

Midwest Adventures!

As you all may or may not know, I went on another interview over Valentine's Day.  I spent 3 glorious days in Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia (kind of).  I was visiting Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN.  It was an AMAZING experience.  I really enjoyed the campus, the faculty, the students and the town.  I know that God has everything all figured out, but if He thinks Lincoln Memorial is the place for me, well, I am okay with that!

Bucket List Inspirations

Raise your hand if you have a bucket list...you know, a bucket list!

A list of things you want to do before you die...etc...etc...

As I have noticed, many "bucket" items are never checked off simply due to lack of opportunity.  For example, wanting to meet Brad Pitt before you die means that the opportunity needs to present itself.  Many people will never get that opportunity and that particular item will remain forever "unchecked".

Due to this common problem, we need to grab these opportunities when they rear their heads.  We need to snatch them up and check them off!  It is for this reason that I stepped out in faith on Sunday night, January 29.   I arrived at an audition for a musical completely on a whim and unprepared.  

I sang a song that may not have been the best choice...

Danced a dance with a little bit of white-girl soul...

And interjected my own obnoxious improv additives into a cold read...

Final outcome...

I was cast for the part of one of the performers in the Broadway version of the muscial

GODSPELL!

I get to sing the popular song "Day By Day" and work with an amazing cast

(some are professionals in their field!)

I will keep you updated on my theatrical endeavors and look forward to seeing you at the performances at the end of March :)
